Our Beliefs

We believe the Bible, the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the fully and completely God Breathed Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16).  We believe it to be without error and completely infallible in its original writings and completely trustworthy in all areas in which they speak.  The Bible reveals the Mind, Will and Character of God; One Who is absolute in holiness, righteousness, justice, and love. The Bible reveals His will for the Salvation of all men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

We believe in the One True God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and co-exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in Jesus Christ, Creator of all things, the only Son of God who is true God and true Man. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.  He suffered and died on the Cross, the complete and final sacrifice for the sins of mankind according to the Scriptures. On the third day, He arose bodily from the dead with all power in heaven and earth and ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, Creator of all things, who is eternally and distinctly God given by Jesus Christ who convicts men of sin, regenerates the believing sinner, indwells, guides, instructs, and empowers the believer for godly living and service.

We believe Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, in need of salvation, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit, being Born Again, can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

We believe Salvation is only by Grace through Faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection from the dead and is the only provision for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only those who receive Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior are born of the Holy Spirit and are the sons and daughters of God.

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ and is made up of all persons who are saved by Grace through Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ who is the head and will gather His church to Himself at any given moment on any given day He will catch us away.

We believe in Baptism and Communion to be ordinances of Christ to the Church. Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Saviour, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. The Lord's supper is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it.

We believe in the Return of Jesus Christ which is personal, visible, pre-millennial, and imminent to reign on the earth for one thousand years before the final judgment.

We believe in Future Events - there will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
